Synopsis: This presentation will provide information on Implementation Plans. Providers who attend this session will learn which services require an IP, required components of an IP, and receive training on the standards in Qlarant tools related to Implementation Plans. In addition Qlarant will show data from Provider Discovery Reviews to discuss standards most frequently scored out and the most common reasons scored not met.

Presentation:Healthy Aging for Persons with Developmental Disabilities

Synopsis: This presentation will provide an overview of aging issues in the I/DD population, including historical perspectives, demographic changes, and basic theories of aging, general aging changes associated with major bodily systems. Syndrome specific aging-related chronic diseases requiring greater surveillance will be highlighted. The presentation will conclude with information on family caregiving and the specific concerns caregivers of older adults with I/DD.
