  • Autism On the Seas

    Autism on the Seas, a national organization, has been in collaboration with Royal Caribbean International since
    2007 in developing cruise vacation services to accommodate adults and families living with children with Special
    Needs, including, but not limited to, Autism, Asperger Syndrome, Down Syndrome, Tourette Syndrome, Cerebral
    Palsy and all Cognitive, Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.These services quickly expanded to other
    cruise lines including Celebrity, Disney, and Carnival Cruise Lines.

  • Autism Speaks

    Autism Speaks website has a variety of information and resources for individuals receiving services, families,
    and providers. Information includes resources for individuals who may wander, as well as some water safety classes.

  • Comcast Internet Essentials Brings Low-Cost Internet Services to Seniors

    Comcast Internet Essentials now offers eligible seniors to affordable Internet at home as well as free computer
    and Internet training classes. Call 1.855.850.4550 for more information and to apply.

  • Disability Scoop

    Founded in 2008, Disability Scoop is the nation's largest news organization devoted to covering developmental
    disabilities. With daily coverage of autism, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and more.

  • Morgan’s Inspiration Island

    Morgan’s Inspiration Island is an inclusive water park opening in June 2017 in San Antonio, Texas. The park is completely accessible.

  • The Special Needs Alliance

    The Special Needs Alliance is a national, non-profit organization committed to helping individuals with disabilities,
    their families and the professionals who serve them. Many of our member attorneys have family members with special
    needs; all of them work regularly with public benefits, guardianship/conservatorships, planning for disabilities,
    and special education issues. We volunteer significant time to the special needs community and advocate for
    legislative and regulatory change to improve quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

Northeast Region
  • The Fun Coast Down Syndrome Association

    The organization encourages and supports families by offering services and advocating for people with
    Down syndrome in Flagler and Volusia counties. Their main focus is education. They educate students
    and the community, as well as provide the tools necessary for the schools to better serve children with
    Down syndrome.

Southeast Region
  • A True Jewel

    There are an estimated 63,000 residents in Palm Beach County, FL who have some form of disability. Caregivers
    of disabled family members can be at risk for serious health threats, including depression and heart disease. Recent
    research showed that mothers of individuals with disabilities can experience chronic stress comparable to combat
    soldiers. There are very few organizations solely dedicated to serve female caregivers of those with disabilities.
    A True Jewel provides these special women with the training, support, and services they need to alleviate
    their physical and emotional distress.

  • C. L. Brumback Primary Care Clinics

    The C. L. Brumback Primary Care Clinics are now providing preventive dental services to adults and children at
    four sites throughout Palm Beach County from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. Patients can call 561-642-1000
    to make an appointment for dental care, including checkups, cleaning, fillings and extractions.

  • Coalition for Independent Living Options of Treasure Coast

    The Coalition for Independent Living Options, Inc.(CILO), a 501(c)(3), welcomes you to our site. Our mission for
    the past 24 years has been to promote independence for people with disabilities. Please enjoy your time browsing

  • Els for Autism Foundation

    Els for Autism Foundation has a Teach and Read through Music, a music therapy group for adults with autism
    ages 22 and older.

  • FAU Academy for Community Inclusion Program

    The FAU Academy for Community Inclusion is a college program for individuals who have graduated from high school
    and who have been diagnosed with developmental disabilities. The program will allow these students to
    earn certificates in supported employment, supported community access, and supported community living.
    These certificates will be offered in an inclusive college environment on the FAU Jupiter campus.
    The program will allow students to participate in college activities and programs as any college
    student would when they attend FAU.

  • First-time Homebuyer Education Workshops

    Learn the steps to becoming a homeowner in a free two-day course at the Urban League of Palm Beach County,
    1700 Australian Ave., West Palm Beach. Topics include the basics of homeownership, credit and budget,
    obtaining a mortgage, searching for a home, home inspection, home insurance and more. Refreshments will
    be served. To register, call 561.833.1461 ext. 3000. The next one is scheduled on September 16 – 17,
    5:30 – 9:30 p.m., but check the website for additional dates. These are held the third Wednesday and Thursday
    of each month.

  • Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies of Palm Beach County

    Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies understands that transportation often plays a key role in our clients'
    ability to visit our offices and get access to the care they need. Rather than come to us, we can come to you!
    Our Maternity Care-a-Van is in the community throughout the week, at grocery stores, health fairs, schools, and
    other community locations. Our staff can perform client mini-intakes, distribute educational information, refer
    you to pregnancy testing centers, childbirth classes, schedule an appointment for an assessment, help
    you identify a doctor, and more.
